Caring for animals at the WFCHS transfer station.

Maintenance of the station—inside and out.

Maintenance at the dog park, especially picking up poop and arranging waste disposal. Monitoring other problems like weeds, unauthorized use of the facility, etc.

Help with events—Strutt Your Mutt annual fun dog show, dog washes, vaccination clinic, etc.—including publicity, being there, cleanup.

Animal transport—for vet care, for foster placements, to meet adoptive prospects, etc.

Promoting WFCHS and its programs. Reaching out to find foster homes.

Spay/neuter program assistance…..with online or kiosk outreach and responding to queries from the public.

Fundraising. Grant writing. Researching special projects.

Trapping or general assistance for the TNR (trap, neuter, return) feral cat program. Maybe just by delivering a trap.

Assist board members in their responsibilities. An example might be helping with preparation of the newsletter by providing info and photos; contributing to content for the web page; updating mailing addresses, etc.
