WFCHS maintains a facility called Gizmo's Park at 26 Gilliland Avenue, behind the East Fork Vet off of East Ramshorn Drive. The facility was built with the generous bequest of Rick Schwinn in memory of his beloved dog, Gizmo. Gizmo's includes an enclosed play area for dogs, a picnic shelter, and walking trails bordering the colorful Dubois Badlands.
The walking trails are restricted to pedestrian and equestrian traffic only. If you look carefully, sometimes you will see our resident herd of bighorn sheep grazing in the vicinity.
At the east end of the facility are horse corrals and a shelter for emergency use by law enforcement and the general public. When not needed for emergencies, horse owners may use them at no charge subject to the posted rules (see below). Please note, overnight camping by horse owners is not allowed. Large horse trailers may want to use the west entrance of the loop to the dog park and exit the east end.
